FTI is a joint investment between Swiss-based investment and management company, PrimusTech Investments, and a large group of UAE corporate and private investors. FTI’s marketing and sales activities are conducted by the company’s fully owned, Swiss-based subsidiary, FTI Europe SA.  For North American markets, a liaison office was recently established in the West Coast.

FTI has a technology sharing and license agreement with a prominent Japan-based media technology provider. The engagement gives FTI unprecedented access to groundbreaking technologies for solutions including recordable Blu-ray Discs and archival media. FTI leverages this partnership to offer its customers truly differentiated products with capabilities and features not available elsewhere.

Location and Logistics

With our headquarters and manufacturing plant in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, we offer significant time-to-market advantages. Because two modern ports (Mina Saqr in Ras Al Khaimah, and Jebel Ali in Dubai) featuring full handling and storage facilities are located near FTI’s plant, products are guaranteed to sail in less than 48 hours after leaving the manufacturing facility.

Quick sailing to major European ports (16 days to Rotterdam, or 20 days to Antwerp, for instance) and an FTI warehouse and logistics center located in Belgium, give our partners a jump on competitors that rely on media originating from Asia. The shorter lead times offered by FTI enable customers to maintain lower inventory levels and maximize cash flow.

FTI offers a range of onsite services to further expedite the fulfillment process. An in-house logistics organization is dedicated to optimizing the supply chain to meet the unique requirements of each customer. FTI also boasts advanced inventory management systems and onsite inventory storage to help eliminate inefficiencies typically associated with warehousing.

FTI’s range of solutions includes single- and double-layer recordable DVD media, 8cm recordable double-layer DVD media and recordable Blu-ray Discs.
