With more than 100 years of combined experience, FTI’s core management team boasts a formidable track record of successes. Highlighted by a unique blend of multidisciplinary experience in technological fields, with an emphasis in the optical data storage industry, the team includes leading product development, manufacturing, operations and marketing experts.

Mr. Adel Michael

A serial entrepreneur holding an engineering degree, Mr. Adel Michael is co-founder and CEO of Falcon Technologies International (FTI). Additionally, Mr. Michael founded and currently serves as CEO of PrimusTech Investments. PrimusTech invests in and manages technology companies including FTI.

Previously, Mr. Michael co-founded 4M Technologies, an international industrial group active in the development, manufacturing and sales of optical data storage media production equipment, technologies and services. He served as its Chairman and CEO from the mid 1980s until the late ‘90s. After taking 4M public, Mr. Michael embarked on a renewed mission to identify and develop emerging industrial opportunities in the technology sector.

Mr. Ad de Bekker

Mr. Ad de Bekker, Plant Director and Chief Operations Officer, is charged with FTI’s day-to-day operational responsibilities. During his 19 year tenure at Philips as a manufacturing excellence specialist, he managed various international plants and joint ventures around the world. His last position was as Manufacturing Manager and Executive Director of a Philips/LG joint venture.

Mr. Wincho Martis

Mr. Wincho Martis, Vice President of Business and Sales Development, handles business and international sales development activities for FTI. His responsibility includes overseeing licensing, technology transfers and alliances, in addition to sales development  and contracts negotiations with international brands (ODM/OEM clients). Mr. Martis was formerly a Vice President at Philips for more than 10 years before joining FTI.

Dr. Derk Jan Adelerhof

Dr. Derk Jan Adelerhof, FTI Chief Technology Officer is a former executive scientist of Philips OD Technology Laboratories/Netherlands. He is widely known as the specialist in Phase change technology in rewritable media. He joined FTI in mid 2006 and his arrival has been showing a major acceleration of products development and release

Ms. Martine Pillard

Ms. Martine Pillard, Vice President of Marketing and Distribution, is in charge of FTI’s marketing and distribution activities, and also guides the company’s product management and sales logistics operations. She has been involved in the optical data storage industry for more than 15 years. Ms. Pillard came to FTI after spending 12 year at 4M Technologies and the previous three years in media distribution with MaxMedia Marketing & Distribution.
