FTI FalconMedia Pro DVD-R Gold EP (Enhanced Performance) media is designed and manufactured to painstaking professional archival standards. The media incorporates a 24k gold reflective layer that provides maximum resistance to degradation caused by environmental factors such as corrosion, a major cause of failure in standard media. FTI FalconMedia Pro DVD-R Gold EP media has been subjected to accelerated aging conditions. The results of these tests have confirmed that the discs offer archival lifespan protecting data for more than 100 years. Each disc offers 4.7GB storage capacity and is compatible with recording speeds up to 8x. 16x version also available on request.
